Polymer Systems exhibiting at MedTech

As a key market for PST it’s always good to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and developments and spread the word of medical grade silicones. We were also joined by Synergy, demonstrating our technology for mixing and degassing silicones and other materials. As always it was a great opportunity to hear about exciting new developments, meet new and old contacts. The introducing stage was well attended, and Dr Will Mortimore, gave a talk on the use of Silicones in Medical Devices. This covered an introduction to the various forms and functions of Silicones for the novice and then some of the new exciting developments for the future. It was good to see that it stimulated some fruitful conversations afterwards on the stand and for some drinks afterwards at the after show reception. Of particular interest were the NuSIl range of lubricating silicones, next steps into 3D printing/additive manufacture and the regulatory support that can be provided to meet ISO 10993. We look forward to seeing you all at the show next year!
